Is there a way to get rid of McAfee Security Scan Plus?
I already have a virus detector and this one is getting annoying.
How can I get rid of it?

You didn’t specify your operating system, so here’s steps for all:
>STEP 1<
In XP: Go to Start; Control Panel; Add/Remove Programs; Select McAfee; Remove.
Vista/Windows 7: Go to Start; In the Search box, type Programs and Features; click on Programs and Features; Select McAfee; Unistall.
>STEP 2<
Download and run the McAfee Consumer Product Removal Tool. (<---You MUST do this to completely remove it from your computer).
The website below has the link to this tool. I didn't provide it here on purpose because you must read the important instructions first (there is a short video, too, if you are nervous).
It's extremely easy and quick.
