i put my laptop in safe mood so i can run malwarebytes,but my mcafee wont turn on?

And my laptop is not on safe mode with networking. Im just tuning malwarebytes right now and just notice McAfee real time scanning is off and it won’t turn back on
That is what I was thinking. But I have had a bad experience with McAfee in the past, i just wanted to play it safe. Thx!

I believe that McAfee needs access to the Internet to run scans, etc. so while you are in Safe Mode, it is unable to connect and run. Once you are networking again, it should run normally.
