How to get Canadian securities license in BC, Canada?
Not interested in Online studies, need school or institute to go to.
To get a securities license in Canada requires that you pass the Canadian Securities Course, and them become employed by an investment dealer. Passing the course isn’t sufficient, to get a license, you must be sponsored by (and under the supervision of) an investment dealer.
The traditional way of passing the Canadian Securities Course is to do it by correspondence through the Canadian Securities Institute (www.csi.ca). There’s no other school or institute that I know of that offers the CSC. The University of Toronto has a “Passing the CSC” program, but it still requires taking the course by correspondence.
If you’re serious, your best bet is to check with CSI directly.
